INFO - THE REALITY COLLECTION
“Evil is the radiation of human consciousness in certain transitional positions. It is not actually the sensual world that is amere appearance; what is so the evil of it, which, admittedly, is what constitutes the sensual world in our eyes.” — Franz Kafka

Reality is a topic that many people have mulled over since the beginning of time. Physically, scientists have a sense of what the world was like back then, and mentally, experimental psychologists and psychoanalysts like Wundt and Freud started their experiments on the human mind in the nineteenth and twentieth century. But what about the things we don’t know? What about the things in our minds that we can’t comprehend, like infinity and higher dimensions? Are our thoughts really our own, or are they influenced by our surroundings? What role does religion play in our everyday lives? What about the future?
“There are too many questions and not enough answers; too many theories and not enough facts,” a lot of people say, but in my opinion, both questions and theories are welcome. In this collection of reality, some things are facts, some things are theories, some are opinions, and some are even wholeheartedly false. “But,” a philosopher probably once said, “I believe we should embrace reality in its mistakes.”
Look at the tabs, if you will. Would you like to know more about the mind, the Hive Mind? Or perhaps the future, in a series of artistic renditions I labeled “The era of Solitude?” Maybe circumstances would fit you more, such as “What would happen if we had never discovered electricity,” or “what if cigarettes dominated the world”? Or perhaps you’d like to settle with some truth in all the madness—facts about our reality, our minds, our feelings.
Reality will become obsolete, so for now, read my thoughts and facts in THE REALITY COLLECTION.

THOUGHTS - THE HIVE MIND
As Ego quotes: In your mind, there is a hive. Not a “bee” hive, but it does buzz at times. In that hive, there lives me, All of You (Haploid), Doubts, Little Light (Trickle), False Hope (Yarrow), Hate, and Soul respectively. . In the hive, we all carry out different processes to keep “human” alive. Not emotional processes, though we can see what “human” thinks. Not physical, though we can see what “human” does. Not memory, no. Something deeper than you would ever think of (probably): your internal monologue. We take turns, each of us, based on the situation.
FUTURE - ERA OF SOLITUDE SERIES
The era of Solitude series is a collection of artworks--and perhaps stories--based on my predictions of the future. They are not only opinion-based, but also logical, taking note of things such as the estimated amound of water we will have in the future, our political enviroment, and, well, everything else.
CIRCUMSTANCES - SHORT STORIES
Circumstances consist of short stories I have made (mainly for school) that correlate to some essence of existence. For example, I made a story for my critical thinking class based on what I believed would happen if the world had never discovered electricity, and another in which the wolrd is dominated by zombies that were created by cigarettes. They are usually 500+ words each, os a good read if you're looking for something brief.
FACTS - REALITY COLLECTION
The facts section consists of mainly my psychology notes, but also things like political stances, origins of things like religion and faith, and even the enviroment and the world around us. Mostly psychology notes, though.
ANSWERS - ESSAYS
The answers section consists of essays, both mine and not mine, relating to the yopic of existence and humanity today. All sources will be credited, of course!!

SURVEY - REALITY COLLECTION
-
What is the true nature of consciousness beyond all perception and understanding?
-
I believe the true nature of consciousness is the ability to think and feel freely for ourselves. Of course, there will always be underlying factors, such as biases and whatnot, but the moment you are able to comprehend a decision, whether good or bad, and know more or less the outcome of that decision regardless of what happens next, is when you have reached true consciousness. I also believe, more than anything, that another factor of consciousness is the ability to form opinions on topics (FORM them, regardless of biases and all). To be able to rationalize your favorite color, whether you lean left or right or neither, or to be able to think that god is real or one action is bad and the other is good.
-
Is there an objective meaning to life, or is meaning entirely subjective?
-
I believe that the meaning of life is subjective and not objective. No matter how you try to convince somebody, everybody has different opinions on the meaning of life. Some believe that the meaning of life is based on their religion, such as connecting with the divine, fulfilling a purpose, or achieving spiritual enlightenment. For others, it may be more mundane, such as heaven and hell or some other form of afterlife, reincarnation, or even a cosmic cycle. You can never tell everybody what to do.
-
Can we ever truly know if we are living in a simulated reality?
-
The only way we would truly be able to know if we are living in a simulated reality is to leave the simulated reality. So, essentially, yes, but by that time we would already be out of the simulated reality.
-
What existed before the beginning of time?
-
Is free will an illusion, or do we genuinely possess it?
-
Free will is an illusion—I believe this 100%. Our actions are wholeheartedly influenced by our surroundings, however present. All of our actions, our thoughts, our hopes and dreams are all influenced by our surroundings.
-
How does one define “nothing,” and can it ever truly exist?
-
This is a complicated question. Nothing can exist literally—if you expect to see a vase, but the vase is not there, then there is truly nothing there. But the thought of anything also makes it a reality. Superpowers, for example, are not real, but they have labels, and we have ideas for them that make them exist. So, literally, nothing can exist, but metaphorically, no.
-
Is time an illusion, or is it the fundamental fabric of existence?
-
I believe that time is an illusion. HOWEVER, upon us humans making it exist, it has become the fundamental fabric of existence. Time is essential to all of life, to know where we stand and to know those that have stood before us. Time is essential to existence because we created it to be, just like money.
-
What is the purpose of existence itself?
-
My belief is that the purpose of life is to live every existence possible and experience everything there is to experience. The egg theory is what this is called, which is essentially the theory that you will live every life in existence. You have been or will be your friend, your lover, and even your rival.
-
Is there a “true” self, or are we merely a collection of fleeting thoughts and perceptions?
-
There is a true self physically, but not mentally. Mentally, we are all a collection of fleeting thoughts and perceptions, yes, and that may reflect on how you decide to dress or color your hair or your appearance in general, but nevertheless each and every person’s appearance is different, which gives each human a true self.
-
If every possible outcome exists somewhere, what is the significance of individual choices?
-
Are universes with different physical laws equally real, or are some inherently impossible?
-
Yes, most likely. There are so many galaxies and universes and multiverses in space that there has to be at least one planet that counteracts laws such as Newton's laws and such. I believe this is also the same for species, who can definitely have different mutations we didn’t even know existed, can see colors we had no idea were there, or can even make sounds that humans cannot make.
-
If you could know the absolute truth, would you want to know it, even if it destroys everything you believe?
-
No. Innocence, however people may perceive it, is a much better option than knowing the full truth. If you knew the truth about everything, you would be hunted, enslaved, maybe, you would be tortured mentally, and you would lose interest in everything. Innocence is what gives us life, undoubtedly so.
